This exceptional micro-lot from Honduras represents everything we love about traceable, relationship-driven coffee. Roasted by Portland's Case Coffee Roasters, it comes from Arturo Paz, a third-generation producer whose family helped establish coffee cultivation in Santa Barbara. As chief agronomist of Beneficio San Vicente, Arturo doesn't just grow great coffee—he elevates quality across the entire region, providing guidance and support to neighboring producers.

The cup is remarkably rich and sweet, showing why Santa Barbara is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Expect layers of bright tangerine and ripe strawberry balanced by creamy milk chocolate undertones. It's a coffee that rewards attention: complex enough to explore, approachable enough to enjoy daily.

Tasting Notes

The flavor profile opens with vibrant citrus—think fresh tangerine with a hint of zest—before revealing strawberry sweetness in the mid-palate. Milk chocolate rounds out the finish, providing a creamy, lingering sweetness that makes you reach for another sip. The body is full and syrupy without being heavy, while the acidity is bright and structured, reminiscent of stone fruit. Clean through the finish with no astringency.
